| This is a beautiful lace pin that is small and delicate; probably from the Edwardian era. It is made of brass, has one large, and eight smaller prong-set, simulated-amethyst stones. The detail on this piece of jewelry is absolutely amazing. It measures 1-3/4 inches in width and 1 inch in length with the old "C" clasp. Delicate jewelry like this complemented the fabrics of sumptuous silk dresses and blouses of the Edwardian period, which was rich in lace and embroidery. | |
