5/14/08      Tortoise Shell Cuff Bracelet Mother Pearl Inlaid

   Beautiful Cuff Bracelet in Tortoise Shell with 4 Oriental Symbols done in Mother of Pearl. This is a Vintage Bracelet probably from the 50's. The bracelet is open in the back about 1 inch and measures 6 -1/4 inches around the width is 1 inch. The Tortoise Shell is a dark-brownish color marbled with yellow.

5/11/08      Sapphire Orchid Pendant

    For your consideration is a totally "in-house" one of a kind piece of jewelry done by a master craftsman. This "orchid" pendant/pin was looked at by my appraiser who thought it was exquisite. It is composed of mixed metals 14kt. yellow gold, 14kt. rose gold and sterling silver. It has 5 fresh water small baroque pearls. The design is of an orchid flower with all the attention to the fine details of the flower. The center of the flower has a natural corundum Sapphire done in an extreme cabochon cut with a pale blue-lavender color. The bottom part has five dangling silver rods each holding a pearl. It measures 3-1/4 inches in length and 2 inches in width. It is not signed nor dated so I'm not certain how old it is but it is exquisite.

5/05/08     Finely Carved vintage Tortoise Shell

      This is a finely carved vintage Tortoise Shell Pendant and Necklace displaying beautiful variegated colors. The Pendant has a carving of a Reindeer with Antlers in the center and small leaves on the sides as if to hide him. The Pendant is oval in shape and measures 2-3/4 inches in length and 2 inches in width. The chain on this is also made of Tortoise Shell in various shapes and sizes. The chain measures 15 inches in length and an additional 2-3/4 inches more with the pendant circa 1930's.

4/23/08     Hand Carved Cinnabar Bracelet

     The carving on this red Cinnabar Bangle is detailed and lovely. The bright red mineral, cinnabar, has a long history in China. The first cinnabar carvings were crafted during the Ming Dynasty of 1368-1644. The vermilion-red stone is now artificially produced from a lacquer which is derived from a tree resin found in China. This is a hand carved cinnabar bracelet circa 1935. It is 5/8 inch wide and 2-1/2 inches across. These bracelets are very collectible.

4/23/08     Vintage Tortoise Shell Bracelet

   This is a dainty Vintage Tortoise Shell Bracelet  that rest lightly on your wrist. The gorgeous color you see are only possible with genuine Tortoise Shell. They are absolutely beautiful.  The bracelet  It measures 8 inches around  the width is 1-1/4 inch the back open in the back after 8-1/2 inches around. The Tortoise Shell is a dark-brownish color marbled with yellow and clear, it opens at the overlap to a larger size to slide over any size wrist. What a wonderful piece of history this lovely bracelet is.

4/19/08       Vintage Glass Beaded Set

    Lush, vintage Glass Beaded Necklace and Bracelet with pale blue round glass beads and a profusion of glass bugle beads capped off by a iridescent ruby colored glass end and a copper top. Wow! This set is incredible it's just so beautiful. The necklace measures 22-1/2 inches in length but could be made smaller. It has a hook closure which could be attached any place in the last 3 1/2 inches. The Bracelet measures 7-1/2 inches. Absolutely wonderful!

Amethyst Colored Czech Necklace    This is a beautifully made necklace of brass and simulated amethyst stones and drops. It has wonderful ornate brass filigree. The necklace is double stranded and measures 14 inches around the neck. The second strand is somewhat longer and has a ornate filigree flower in the middle that has a bezel set double sided amethyst in the center along with a beautiful round amethyst stone and a filigree capped faceted briolette amethyst. The necklace is circa 1890.

The multifaceted clear crystals are brilliant and catch the light just right. It has an oval shaped cabochon stripped like a zebra in the center. They measure 1-3/4 inches in length and 1-3/8 inches in width. Compliments galore guaranteed!

     Ciner Jewelry Dolphin Bracelet Ciner began making costume jewelry in 1931. The company is still operating today. Ciner jewelry has always been known for its high-quality construction and design. For your consideration is a gorgeous Ciner Red Enamel and Rhinestone Dolphin Hinge Bracelet. It has a gold toned metal foundation with a stunning red colored enameling over the exterior. This fabulous hinge bracelet is made to look like a Dolphin that is wrapped around itself and has the head touching the tail. The head and the tail sections are highly decorated having sections of pave set white rhinestones in gold toned metal. The top of the head has pave set white rhinestones surrounding an oval shaped black cabochon and there are two section of white rhinestones surrounding oval shaped green glass cabochons for eyes. The tail section is studded in pave set white rhinestones with one oval shaped black cabochon at the tip of this section. This hinge bracelet has a push button style clasp that holds well and the bracelet is signed "Ciner" in two spots on the inside of the wrist part and once on the clasp. The bracelet measures 9 inches around when closed with a 2-1/2 inch opening. it is 1 inch wide at it's widest part. This bracelet is in excellent condition with no wear or missing rhinestones. This circa 1960s Ciner Dolphin Bracelet is highly collectible haute couture.
